ABB Transformers, Bell Block have an upcoming vacancy for a Procurement Officer. In this role the successful applicant will hold responsibility for the full procurement process of a particular category of their manufacturing requirements. This will include sourcing, negotiations, logistics and delivery to factory. As a member of the supply team and portfolio owner the position also involves maintaining KPI charts and quarterly supply savings reports. This is a unique opportunity to take total ownership of a portfolio and to be actively involved in continual improvements, build and maintain supplier relationships and provide the factory with a high level of service. Applicants ideally will have a tertiary qualification relevant to supply chain/procurement with 3- 5 years experience in a procurement role. It is essential to have MRP experience (SAP would be an advantage) along with experience in negotiating with suppliers and inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Our client is looking for qualified NDT and HT Technicians to join their team. They offer full support and continuous training, along with opportunities to travel overseas. You will need to have several years experience operating at a qualified level, possess proven communication skills and the ability to interact with professional clients. Experience of managing and training staff is also a bonus, as you will often be supported by trainees.

You will need to be an experienced ventilation engineer and be able to work independently and manage installation as a solo unit with the experience to make decisions on the job to solve problems should they arise in the scope of your work.
